Your privacy matters to me. This page explains, in plain language, what information I collect, how I use it, and the promises I make to keep it safe. If anything here is unclear, just ask — I'm always happy to explain.

Who I am

Cherry Valley Technology is a one-person technology-help business based in the Fresno–Clovis area, run by me, Eric. When you contact me or book a session, you're dealing directly with me — not a call center or a large company.

What information I collect

I only collect what I need to help you:

  • When you book or contact me: your name, phone number, email address, and a short note about what you need help with.

  • During a session: I may see information on your device or accounts as I help you. I treat everything I see as private.

  • When you visit this website: my website provider (Squarespace) may collect basic, standard information like your general location or which pages you viewed, to keep the site running. I don't use this to identify you personally.

I do not collect or store your passwords, and I don't sell, rent, or share your information for marketing.

How I use your information

I use your information only to:

  • Schedule and prepare for your session

  • Contact you about your appointment or a question you asked

  • Provide the help you booked

That's it. I won't add you to mailing lists or pass your details to third parties without your permission.

Your accounts and passwords

During a session, I sometimes need to sign into your device or accounts to help you — but only with your permission, only while you're with me, and only to do the work we agreed on. I never save, copy, or keep your passwords, and I'll always tell you before I access anything. You can find the full details in the consent form I'll go through with you before we begin.

How I keep your information safe

I keep your contact details secure and only for as long as I need them. I don't store your personal data on your devices after a session, and I don't keep copies of anything I access while helping you.

Booking and payments

I use Square to handle bookings and payments. When you pay, your card information goes directly to Square's secure system — I never see or store your full card details. You can review Square's own privacy practices on their website.

Your choices

You're always in control of your information. At any time, you can:

  • Ask me what information I have about you

  • Ask me to update or correct it

  • Ask me to delete it

Just call or email me, and I'll take care of it.

For California residents

As a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information I collect, to ask me to delete it, and to not be treated differently for exercising those rights. I don't sell personal information. To make a request, just contact me using the details below.

Changes to this statement

If I update how I handle information, I'll update this page and change the date at the top.
